I am following a One Name Study for the surnames Olivey and Tizzard and would welcome correspondence with anyone interested in these names and variants.

I have registered both names with the Guild of One Name Studies of which I am member number 359.

My interests started in 1976 with evening classes in family history learning how to trace one's own family tree and slowly broadened into one name researches when I found out how uncommon was the occurrence of Olivey. The Tizzard study followed later when I could not find a particular Thomas Tizzard and I decided to look for all likely candidates.
